Amenities
We offer spacious private and semiprivate accommodations, each room with its own bath, some with their own showers. Our short-term rehab unit features mostly private rooms with private bath and shower. All resident rooms are wired for telephone service and cable TV. We have a beauty/barber shop for your convenience and sitting rooms on each unit.

Our main lobby furnishings create comfortable conversation areas, and our baby grand piano tempts residents, staff, and visitors into impromptu performances. Our sunny, four-seasons atrium room, overlooking the patio, is a bright, cheery, glass-enclosed space that our residents enjoy and that families can reserve for special events.

Outside, a walkway encircles our building, and we have an enclosed courtyard and several open courtyards, all with benches. Altogether, our well-maintained grounds offer you some lovely, private spaces where you can take a stroll or sit and talk while you enjoy some fresh air and nature. For resident safety and building security, we use the WanderGuard safety system and our outside doors are secured.

Activities
Staying active and involved is an important part of everyone’s health and well-being. Our seven-day-a-week activities calendar—evenings included—will provide you with a variety of recreational activities to help keep you mentally, physically, and spiritually active...no matter what your level of mobility is. Our schedule of activities includes gentle exercise classes, games, music, crafts, discussion groups, religious services, pet therapy, and more—all designed to keep you vibrant, energetic, and on the go. We also have a weekly men’s night and a women’s club. And if you have a hobby you love, you can bring that along with you.

We also provide opportunities for you to stay involved in the community. If you’re able and interested, you can join your fellow residents on shopping expeditions and other local outings.

Certification/Accreditation
Bourne Manor is certified by both Medicare and Medicaid. We’re also accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), a nationally recognized, independent organization that sets standards of excellence for nursing homes and other healthcare facilities.

In addition, we are proud to have signed the profession-wide Quality First pledge, which further reflects our commitment to quality, ethical care and resident safety.
